Introducing more of a backstory to Lara Croft,this fourth installment pits her against the Egyptian God,Set, as she must discover a way to seal him in his tomb to save the world.We also meet Warner Van Cory,who teaches a young Lara the 'Way of the Archaeologist',and later finds himself involved in the main story.
WHY WE WERE EXCITED:
Honestly,this was is our least favorite in the saga,as Lara finds herself grounded in Egyptian ruins and lever/block-pushing puzzle rooms.There is, however,one clever twist that takes place at the end that,despite two subsequent games,has yet to be resolved.
